Giant Ego
This was such a different project from what we've done before. It was easier than I expected, it just included a lot of details that had to be exactly on point, and you couldn't just go with the numbers the guy in the video had. I had trouble with the mask because I had to do it over and over again. The hair wasn't to bad, I got it the first try. All in all I enjoyed this project.

Stone Portrait
This project was pretty cool. All the different things we did to the file like using the dodge tool, didn't look like it was making a difference on my screen, but once I kept doing the steps everything started to fall into place. When trying to do the Gaussian blur, it would only blur the center and the edges were crisp, so I just used a mask to blur the edges of the shadow and spotlight. The lighting effect looked differently on my version of Photoshop then the one the guy in the video was using so I kind of had to guess and check what to change and where to move the "hotspot" and stuff. But overall, awesome project!

Cartoon Yourself
This project was harder than I expected it to be. The colors were off, I changed them but when i posted them to blogger, they were a million times darker than I chose them to be. THE EYES LOOK SO RATCHET I KNOW JUST DONT LOOK AT THEM.

El Guapo Hot Sauce
The ad consisted of keeping everything simple. I needed to create something easy to read but had the
feel of a Hot Sauce.

Pen Tool Exercise
This exercise was very helpful. The pen tool always confused me because I didn't understand the lines didn't go where I wanted or I couldn't get the lines to curve the way it was supposed to. Now since I did this short exercise, I understand the reasoning behind the mistakes I made. I could have fixed the mistakes I made with just one or two clicks!

Happy 30th Birthday Macintosh!
I really enjoyed the flexibility with this project. Since Helvetica is such a simple feeling font, I tried making a simple poster. I didn't capitalize any letters and changed a lot of basic features when it came to the font. When I added the Macintosh logo, it was to crisp and didn't fit the feel of the poster, so I added a Gaussian blur to soften it up. Happy 30th Birthday Macintosh!
